Bayside Landing is not open yet. The project is approved and heading into construction — an opening date will be announced here once the build schedule is confirmed.
The Harbor Room looks straight down onto the floating docks and the working boats — the most alive view on the property, and the earliest.
Morro Bay is still a genuine commercial fishing harbour, and the Harbor Room puts you directly above it. The fleet moves before dawn; by the time the fog lifts, the docks below are busy with gear, gulls and the day's first arrivals.
The room is finished in slate blue-gray and cedar, with a bright blue band along the eave line matching the cottage's exterior trim. Black-framed glazing runs the length of the water elevation, and a sliding door opens onto a private deck over the slips.
It is the suite we recommend to guests who want to feel like they are staying in the harbour rather than beside it.

Common questions
Is the working harbour noisy in the morning?
The fleet does move early, and that is rather the point of this room. Guests who prefer a quieter aspect should look at the Sunset Room or Otter Cove, which face away from the slips.
