The Kayaker's Loft
Upstairs, with the dock right below.
Bayside Landing is not open yet. The project is approved and heading into construction — an opening date will be announced here once the build schedule is confirmed.
An upper-level loft tucked under a steeply pitched roof, with the highest outlook on the property and the floating dock directly beneath it.
The Kayaker's Loft is the only upper-storey suite. Its rafters come down close to the floor at the eaves, which gives it a snug, cabin-like feel, while the raised position opens up a longer view across the bay than any of the ground-level cottages.
The floating dock sits immediately below, so getting on the water is a matter of going downstairs. Morro Bay's estuary is protected, shallow and slow-moving — among the most forgiving paddling anywhere on the Central Coast.
Warm taupe walls, a warm orange eave band and natural Douglas fir throughout.
In this suite
- Upper-level loft with the longest views

Common questions
Are kayaks included with the room?
Rental and launch arrangements will be confirmed closer to opening. The suite's advantage is position — the floating dock is directly below, so you are on the water in minutes rather than driving to a launch.
